Hey 2-leggers out
there...Dawg Days is a great place to bring your 4-leggers for
vacation. Our owners, after much pestering, finally listened to us
and bought a beach house. So my co-4-legger (Boomer) and I
(Bandit) decided to donate some of our toys, a dog bed (not mine)
and food bowls (again not mine) to help make this a comfy, cozy
place to vacation. I think Boomer donated more than me but that's
okay...it was my idea to fence in the backyard. So bring your
4-leggers to Dawg Days, they will love ya for it. Super Dog
Friendly - Dawg Days loves dogs!!!! Being a dog owner or should I
say dogs owner..we know how much fun it is when you bring your
family 4-legger. Our first vacation with our dog...Petedog...was
very memorable. The kids had so much fun watching him roll in
something stinky and then running to give them a smooch or playing
with him in the ocean. We wanted to make sure other families could
enjoy the same thing we have. So that's how Dawg Days came about.
We have dog bowls, crate, toys and even a dog bed! We fenced in
the backyard so that your precious 4-legger(s) won't run out into
the street or run to the nearby lake like ours would do every
chance they got! We thought our renters would like to see the
other dogs that have stayed at Dawg Days so we started a photo
album of past 4-legged guests. We are getting quite the collection
of pics. Whether you are looking for a relaxing do nothing but lay
out on the beach vacation or having a full schedule of running
around Corolla
has it all. There are so many sites to see. You have The Whalehead
Club, Currituck Lighthouse, Jockey's
Ridge State Park, take a guided tour of the 4-wheel drive
area to see the wild horses and there is a nearby nature trail.
There are plenty of shops in Corolla
and nearby Duck for the shopper. You can play miniature golf or
golf at the Currituck Golf Club. Dawg Days offers community tennis
courts and there is a basketball goal at the house. There is an
area lake that is great to stroll around and watch your dog(s)
swim and play. Sleeping accommodations: 1 Master bedroom/queen, 1
bedroom/double, 1 bedroom/2 twins, 1 bedroom/2 sets bunkbeds and
futon in living room. No need to bring anything from home for the
kitchen. Dawg Days' kitchen is completely stocked right down to
the George Foreman grills. A senior citizens' discount is also
available in the off season.
